Founded on Boulevard Saint-Germain by three friends — an interior designer, a painter and a theatre director — who began selling printed fabrics, then candles, then perfume. The Baies candle in the oval black-script jar is the platonic "expensive candle as gift". Signature: Baies candle, Figuier candle, Philosykos eau de toilette, Eau Capitale.
