Treviso family-run perfumer, soap-maker and brush-maker since 1869; less famous than Santa Maria Novella but quietly excellent. Acqua del Re cologne is on every well-travelled American's shelf. Signature: White Moss soap, Acqua del Re cologne, beechwood hairbrushes. Great for: host gifts, modest-but-impressive Christmas gifts, women's "treat" gifts.
